NOISE is Europe’s number one destination for promoting amazing talent and helping creative types to get the know-how, to kick-start and continue a  successful career in the creative industries - whoever, wherever they are.

We do this by providing a portfolio website to showcase talents, network and collaborate with peers, access mentorship from leading industry professionals, find job opportunities, get involved with NOISE projects and events, sell artwork and get involved in the biennial NOISE Festival celebration of creative talent.

Whether you are an up and coming creative superstar, seasoned pro who wants to give something back, an educational institute with students to shout about or a company looking to hire the hottest new talent, then NOISE has got something for you.

why we do it

Ian Livinstone at a NOISE event

Established in 2004, the award-winning national NOISE charity helps thousands of emerging creatives start successful careers in the Creative Industries. NOISE provides key enterprise and employability opportunities, ground-breaking national careers events, innovative, industry-led projects and a cross-platform festival; all of which enable creatives to develop from amateurs to professionals and start earning an income for their talent.

NOISE believes that success should be based on raw talent alone, not location,  qualifications are or existing industry contacts . Without an influx of fresh minds, ideas and easy to access opportunities to help advance this sector, it is in danger of becoming increasingly elitist. We’re turning that tired old mantra of ‘it’s not what you know it’s who you know’ on its head by providing the online tools to help  develop the skills and connections you need to make a career out of your passions.

NOISE is here to stand up for debt-free learning and aims to deliver long-term change in the education skills and creative industries sector. The vision is to enable a creative sector based on talent, achievement and ability.  It’s why we get out of bed  every morning.

How we do it

With online portfolios, innovative projects and groundbreaking events, we also network like crazy to get the biggest  industry names (Zaha Hadid, Wayne Hemingway, Tom Dixon, Peter Saville, Sir Norman Rosenthal, Stella Vine, Badly Drawn Boy...)  to endorse the best emerging talent .  NOISE partners with international media names (BBC, MTV...) leading creative brands (Adobe, Yamaha...), institutions and grassroots community organisations to to provide clear routes into the cultural and creative industries as well as audiences of millions for new, creative work.

Like your very own PR agency, the NOISE gets creative talent  exposure across television, radio and print, with artist profiles featured in the BBC, Digital Arts, Blueprint, Big Issue, Vogue, Elle Decoration, ICON, Time Out, Computer Arts , Guardian, Sunday Times, Telegraph plus a range of coverage across TV, radio, regional papers and zines internationally. Since 2006 NOISE has achieved an international audience of over 900million, with an incredible PR value of £8million (2006-11) for the creatives we represent.

Finally, for that extra push and recognition you deserve, we lobby Government on the barriers that prevent you from following your ambition and passions within the creative industries, and offer nifty solutions and projects to address these issues on your behalf.

See, we’re oh, so much more than a festival… (you can find out about that bit here though)
