James GreenhalghJames is a musician and sound artist and studied Creative Sound & Music at Newport University. He's had teaching experience at primary and secondary school levels, and has travelled Europe taking field recordings to incorporate into his work.

James originally came to NOISE as a sound engineer for our careers event, NOISE: Your Creative Future and has since turned his hand to helping out on various projects and events.

Currently acting as Video Editor for the NOISE Festival’s 2014 Youtube campaign, he spends most his time in the office in the editing suite, and makes the meanest brews known to mankind.

Dream Job: James dreams of running a tribute website dedicated to the greatest song ever composed, Michael Jackson’s “The Earth Song”

David's creative specialty is music, and has recently started a music degree. His dream job is to be a film composer (or it is at the moment anyway). Musically some of his major influences are Andrew Bird, Jack White and Jeff Buckley, and specialties are choral music, electric guitar, mandolin and live looping.

He is a photographer, mainly of theatre and live music - including NOISE events - and writes for Silent Radio.

Emily is studying Events Management at The Manchester College, and is helping us oversee the "NOISE Amplify" events programme at the moment, and generally being quite wonderful and efficient. She hopes to get in to the Fashion Industry and is a budding Stylist.

Jack is a photographer for NOISE, and has recently completed his studies in photography and design at Bury Holy Cross College. Jack also helps out with graphic design and is hoping to go to University later in the year to start a BA in Design and Communications.

Andrea looks after arts administration for us at NOISE and leads on some of our special events projects. She is also a top DJ, a right good laugh, and volunteers at Brighter Sound.

Karen_Noise_VolunteerAn aspiring to become Graphic Designer and studying Visual Communication specialised in Graphics Communication at Birmingham City University. Currently working on some challenging university projects and pushing boundaries in terms of being experimental with installation, crafting her own physical objects, using traditional printing methods and type setting.
