about louise dewsnap
A 3D Design Graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University, Louise's pieces are made from layers of paper and card hand cut. The idea is to transform an everday, rather dull material into something much more interesting and intricate, to show that a very simple material can become something beautiful.
Louise attended the NOISE: Your Creative Future careers event held in March 2013, and took part in our Ambitions photography project. Louise intended to set up her NOISE ePortfolio and enter as many competitions as possible, to get her work seen. Staying true to her word and setting up her NOISE ePortfolio, Louise gave herself the opportunity to get involved with "NOISE Amplify" and NOISE Festival 2014, and we can't wait to see where this takes her!
about tom bevan
Tom's work focusses on the boundary between the digital and print - particularly within the realms of books. In a modern, digital era, information is quickly shared worldwide but is generally temporary in nature, whereas the more permanent from of parchment and paper is slowly declining in its popularity and usage.
Louise made a connection with Tom via their NOISE ePortfolios and the rest is beautiful, papery, intricate history...
