We're very happy that the film is being seen globally, which was created by young Romany Gypsy and Irish Travellers, to film a lasting record of their culture, from their own point of view. The event looked at what role arts and heritage will play in the realisation of the Big Society. Victoria spoke about the NOISE charity's ideas for defining and contributing to the Big Society, and talked about the community inspired NOISELAB. Lord Nat Wei cited digital efforts as one of the main drivers of the Big Society vision. He said "Lets join forces to include digital access, lets devise platforms for digital participation, NOISE is one example where you combine real human interaction with technology, Let's enable innovation in this area for it to continue to thrive." NOISE hopes that through the Big Society the work we do can be signposted, supported and strengthened. You can read the National Campaign for the Art's mini report on the talk here .
