Etre Fluide
Etre Fluide is a journey through many different textural sounds. The piece is based around how these textures interact and evolve around one another almost becoming one single sound. The title describes the movement of the piece as opposed to what it's about, as i prefer not to create a picture in the listeners mind. It is far more intersting to let you come to your own interpretation rather than make you think of one set idea.

The Final Journey
(Live recording with New Noise May 2005). The final Journey depicts the final journey of life, scored for Oboe, Percussion and Tape plus live electronics through MaxMsp. The work is arranged in three sections in which different textures evolve and develop. Between the Oboe, Percussion (cymbal and vibraphone) and Tape, a large intense mass of sound is gradually formed, creating a desperate need for release. The Final Journey is deddicated to Peter Forsyth (1922-2005). I have included a separate recording of the tape part for a better idea of how the textures evolve in a live mix.
