westergaard designs is an independent company specialising in bespoke furniture design, producing custom made products and commissioned pieces for clients who demand innovative and quality design for living.
The westergaard designs ethos reflects a personal creative style, which is underpinned by cultural links with Scandinavian design. The pieces are influenced by the modernist movement and have been updated for the 21st century. Polly Westergaard, the young talent behind westergaard designs says "My design ideas owe much to my Scandinavian heritage, with a clear link to the modernist style of the 1950s and 60s. I undertake extensive research, exploring current and historical influences as well as gaining inspiration from nature. Ideas come when you least expect them."? This design process results in the production of stylish, practical, contemporary pieces, which combine quality with longevity.

stag clock
the stag rejse clock uses the bold image of a stag as a representation and a play on the hunted stags heads which adorn traditional stately homes. the clock uses a pendulum movement and measures 50cm x 28cm and can be produced in a variety of colours.

rejse stag mirror
the stag rejse mirror internationally launched at stockholm furniture fair, would sit proudly above any mantle piece. to replace the conventional hunted stags heads which adorn traditional stately homes. the mirrors are a modern twist on a traditional idea, providing a quirky yet sophisticated design, fit for any home. Made from mirrored acrylic, a shatterproof lightweight alternative to glass. The mirror measures 94cm x 54cm.
