I first started my design life, in 2003, when i decided to go to college to earn a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia. Before joining this course, i had never touched any design software in my life, but by the end of my first year, i was already fully confident in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Flash/Freehand/Dreamweaver. In June 2005, i passed my course with 3 Merits, enabling me to continue my education into a Ba(Hons) Interactive Media, which was basically a continuation of what i was doing at college. Both of these courses focused on enabling us to learn all aspects of new media design (i.e. CD-Roms, Websites, Java Phone Applets, interactive TV Applications, 3D Design, 2D Design etc). In about 2004, i set up a small design company called '8dayssooner'. Although it isnt a well known company, ive already done some art for music artists both abroad, and at home. Aswell as this, i have recently designed a header for the most popular 'Lostprophets' fan site, www.draginninja.com, aswell as some exclusive wallpapers for them. I am now also a webmaster over at www.megalolz.com, the fastest growing Lostprophets Fan Site, and graphically branded the site personally. Someday, i would like to be designing media art full time for a range of musicians, and film/tv companies. Thanks for reading, and i'd apreciate if you would check out my other work on www.8dayssooner.co.uk cheers Mike x

Mike Borgia - Lost Without You
After meeting Mike Borgia in 2004, i recieved an email in March 2006, asking if i would do the honours of designing his next CD cover, for an album of B-Sides, which would just slip inside a cardboard sleeve. After asking what sort of feel he was looking for, he decided to give me complete design freedom in what i wanted to do. I found this helped alot, as i could just put his music on, and let myself go. I am very happy with the end product, and so was Mike Borgia.
