Catherine Hammerton

"NOISE and its wonderful team have been great. They have helped raise my profile as a fledgling Designer-Maker whilst introducing my work to a broad and multi-disciplined audience"

For more of Catherine's work:

As a direct result of being part of the NOISE Festival my work is showcased online, featured in national press and championed by Design-guru Wayne Hemmingway… a pretty nice compliment for a new kid on the block! -Catherine Hammerton

We spotted Catherine Hammerton at her Royal College of Art Summer graduate show in 2006. Her gorgeous wallpapers and home furnishing wowed not only us, but also our 2006 Curator Wayne Hemingway. Her delightful products are produced in a totally ethical ‘fashion’; from using a community sewing cooperative, reclaimed vintage fabrics, to FSC certified materials.

In 2009 Catherine was selected to sell her wares at the NOISE Kiosk, in the heart of London’s Southbank.

This wallpaper’s very visually interesting and in that sense pretty challenging; there’s lots going on and it’d look really great in an adventurous, arty home. Wayne Hemingway, NOISE Curator: Product Design 2006
